I know you've probably said before, but what does Tina do exactly? It's cool that you're allowed to help out in the lab - I think they're pretty strict on that in the labs here.

I'm doing a PhD in Molecular Neuro-Oncology. I study RNA binding proteins and how they influence metastatic breast cancer progression, and the development of ovarian cancer.

There aren't so strict about who can do things in lab (especially on Sunday mornings), except for handling of hazardous materials. There was nothing hazardous about what Adam was doing, I did all the nasty stuff afterwards.

Proactive is not quite the word I would use to describe my experience in that lab...more fear that I would mess up helping Tina. And then looking for funny things to take pictures of. And then thinking of things to do with the rest of my day in lab.

What kind of tree and dirt work did you do?
