So lets try a short form review!

A little bit too much drama, a little too goofy, though anything with J.K. Simmons in it was awesome.

Topher Grace was excellent, though him being smarmy and sarcastic in anything is pretty damn good.

Evil Peter is so damn emo, I swear he put on eye shadow.

Speaking of which, not enough Venom; really, an evil version of Spiderman? That is what they skimmed over?

The fight in the mansion was good, quite brutal.

STOP KILLING ALL THE INTERESTING VILLAINS.

Just me, or did Tobey McGuire getting out of shape? No more CGI Muscles?
